12 countries, nine dentists....and Dr. Fain rates as #1.....best dentist I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of them....also the hygenist that cleans is a wonder.....Great service, no two hour wait (actually less than 15 minutes with a packed waiting room), and totally painless.....even the injection. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fain.

Family Dentistry

Your family dentist provides the utmost care for every member of the family, at any age. One of the aspects we enjoy most about serving our diverse clientele is building strong relationships. Seeing multiple generations under one roof is something we love to do.

Visiting with the various members of a family gives us the ability to determine genetic predisposition to conditions like gum disease, and gives us the opportunity to discuss healthy practices that can be encouraged at home. It is now known that cavities and gum disease can be passed between family members, so working with everyone in your family allows the best chance of prevention.

It is typically recommended that children begin receiving professional dental care between two to three years of age. Dr. Fain likes to do a quick evaluation of teeth soon after they have erupted. Through early evaluation, problems can be detected and treated before complications develop. Children most often face issues with cavities, which may be triggered by sugary drinks, or even a nighttime bottle. If infants are given a bottle at night, it should contain only water to avoid tooth decay.

At the age of five to seven, children will be evaluated for bite, as this is when permanent teeth begin coming in. Through early assessment, we can see if there may be a need for orthodontic treatment, or initiate specific treatment designed to facilitate proper jaw growth.

Today, many people are keeping their natural teeth well into their eighties and nineties. Regular professional check-ups and cleanings, as recommended by the dentist, are especially important during the later years, when certain medications or medical conditions may reduce natural saliva production. Without adequate saliva, the teeth are more susceptible to decay.

When teeth are missing, we work with patients to find the most suitable form of replacement. This might be dental implants, dentures, a dental bridge, or a dental crown. Above all, we treat each patient based on his or her unique needs.

We have designed our office to meet the needs of patients at any age. We enjoy the opportunity to visit with families and we provide each member with personalized care, from filling cavities to brightening smiles, to restoring full function. Whatever your family's dental needs may be, we are here to meet them.
